We are looking for a qualified, personable candidate with a positive attitude, who is driven to succeed and passionate about sales & service.

Draw plus commission structure.

Opportunity to make significant income based on ability to set appointments and complete follow ups.

Responsibilities Include:

Identifying customer’s needs.

Asking for appointments.

Selling the benefits of solar and energy efficiency.

Following up post appointment, sale and installation.

Candidate Must Have:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Exceptional people skills.

Previous outbound phone sales experience.

A customer service focus and be a team player.


Computer knowledge including use of Windows programs, email and CRM systems.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Prior Solar or Efficiency experience a plus but not required.

Flexible Schedule could include occasional evenings and weekend hours.

Director of Residential Solar Sales

Director of Residential Solar Sales

Leadership position with a family owned, fast paced, growing business.

The Director of Residential Solar Sales is responsible for managing sales through leadership of the sales team. Candidate is expected to deliver consistent growth in revenue, margins, and closing ratios. Primary duties include planning, development and management of sales personnel as well as identifying objectives, strategies and action plans that will improve short and long-term sales and gross profit goals.

Sales Team responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining thorough and current knowledge of solar electric market conditions, rebates, tax incentives, and utility rate schedules.
  • Establishing and managing effective programs to compensate, coach, evaluate and train sales personnel.
  • Ensuring Sales Consultants are working effectively to maximize lead conversion and lead closure rates.
  • Assisting sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with customers.
  • Educating sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
  • Reviewing sales personnel’s expenses and commissions.
  • Tracking sales personnel’s individual and group goals.
  • Prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Sales Management responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Establishing and recommending realistic residential solar sales goals for the company on a monthly basis.
  • Accurately forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual revenue streams.
  • Meeting gross margin goals.
  • Developing specific plans around lead management.
  • Cultivating customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with C-level management to develop sales strategies to improve market share in Residential Solar.
  • Maintaining vendor relations.
  • Handling escalated customer concerns/issues with all necessary internal departments.
  • Monitoring and reporting within CRM system.


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a managerial or higher position.
  • Exceptional mathematical aptitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with computer spreadsheets and word processing software and CRM systems (prior Salesforce experience a plus).
  • Ability to work with a highly technical product (prior Solar experience a plus).
  • Team work and a positive attitude a must!

Base Salary plus generous performance-based incentive program; compensation commensurate with experience.

Solar Sales Associate – Entry Level

Full-time Solar Sales-Entry Level positions are available with advancement opportunities. There are 2-3 positions available immediately.

We are willing to train qualified, personable candidates with positive attitudes, who are driven to succeed and passionate about transitioning to a clean energy economy.

A base salary and commission structure will be provided with the opportunity to make up to $64,000 annually.

Responsibilities Include:

Learning the basics of the solar industry
Marketing to solar-specific candidates
Directly working with solar prospects
Data entry and lead management (customer software)
Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation

Candidate Must Have:

A positive attitude
A willingness to learn the solar industry
An interest in sales and the sales process
Enthusiasm for working in a performance-driven environment
A strong work ethic

Candidates who are successful in our program will have advancement opportunities within 4-6 months.
