2025 at Earthlight: A Year of Growth and Momentum

A Letter From Our CEO

“As Earthlight heads into 2026, I want to take a moment to look back on what 2025 meant for our company and the people behind the work.”

This past year was one of continued growth and momentum for us at Earthlight, with both sales and installations reaching an all-time high. We built on a strong foundation while staying focused on what matters most, doing quality work and taking care of our customers. Throughout the year, we also made intentional decisions to expand and diversify the work we do, including the launch of two new business lines: residential roofing and a dedicated new homes solar and storage division. Alongside these additions, we continued to strengthen strategic partnerships that allowed us to reach more residential, commercial, and community projects. These steps weren’t about growth for growth’s sake, but about building a business that’s resilient and able to adapt as the energy landscape continues to change.

From an operational standpoint, our teams delivered an exceptional year. In 2025, our in-house crews installed more than 1,160 residential solar systems, helping homeowners across our markets take greater control of their energy. That work included both customer-owned systems and power purchase agreements, giving customers flexibility in how they choose to go solar. We also installed 473 battery systems, supporting backup power needs and improving energy reliability at the household level.

On the commercial side, we completed 30 large solar and storage projects and contracted 58 new projects, working closely with customers to maximize available tax benefits through a comprehensive safe-harbor strategy. Our commercial team also expanded EV charging infrastructure with 21 new charging stations installed on commercial properties. Beyond solar and EV charging, we completed 85 sports lighting and energy efficiency projects for schools, businesses, and community spaces, helping unlock thousands of dollars in utility incentives to bring these projects to life.

Equally important is the work that continues long after installations are complete. Our service team conducted more than 1,100 service calls and inspections in 2025, supporting both existing and new customers. This included service work on over 300 orphaned systems, which are now operating safely and effectively under Earthlight’s care. Service remains a growing part of how we support customers over the long term and ensure systems perform reliably year after year.

None of this progress happens without the people behind it. In 2025, we welcomed 34 new employees, growing our team to more than 165 people, including over 70 installers and electricians, as we continued to expand the company with intention. We also strengthened our leadership team with the addition of Danielle Fidel as Chief Commercial Officer, supporting our continued growth and helping guide the next phase of the business. As we expand, our core values: valuing one another, doing the right thing, demanding quality, working safely, and acting as responsible stewards, help keep everyone aligned around the same expectations for how we work and how we serve our customers. That shared mindset is what allows us to grow without losing who we are.

I’m incredibly proud of what our team accomplished in 2025 and grateful to our customers, partners, and communities who continue to trust Earthlight with their projects. As we move into 2026, we do so with strong momentum, clear direction, and excitement for what’s ahead.
