2025 at Earthlight: A Year of Growth and Momentum
2025 was a year of continued growth and momentum for Earthlight with both sales and installations reaching an all-time high. Building on a strong foundation, the company focused on expanding its capabilities while maintaining the level of quality and care their customers have come to expect. Earthlight took deliberate steps to diversify the work it does including formally launching two new business lines, residential roofing and a dedicated new homes solar and storage division, and leveraging strategic partnerships to broaden its reach across residential, commercial, and community sectors. This diversification strengthens the company’s business model by expanding the customers it serves, adding resilience in a changing energy landscape, where shifting policies and market conditions continue to influence how projects are planned and delivered. With clear direction and a team built to execute, Earthlight moves forward with confidence in both the work being delivered today and the path being built for the future.
In 2025, Earthlight’s in-house crews installed over 1,160 residential solar systems, including 473 batteries to help support homeowners’ back up power needs. This consisted of both customer-owned systems and power purchase agreements to help customers go solar without any up-front costs. Earthlight also completed 30 large commercial solar and storage projects and contracted 58 new jobs, helping customers maximize tax benefits with a comprehensive safe-harbor strategy. In addition, the Earthlight commercial team installed 21 new EV charging stations on commercial properties, and completed 85 sports lighting and energy efficiency projects for schools, businesses, and community spaces, facilitating the award of thousands of dollars in incentives from local utilities to make these projects come to life. Through their growing service team, Earthlight also conducted over 1,100 service calls and inspections, for both existing and new customers, helping ensure that customers’ solar systems continue to operate to their fullest potential for years to come. This included service calls on over 300 orphaned systems that are now operating safely and effectively under Earthlight’s care.
Earthlight’s progress is supported by a calculated investment in its team to ensure sustained growth to meet their customers’ needs. Over the course of the year, Earthlight welcomed 34 new employees, increasing their workforce to more than 165 people, including over 70 installers and electricians.
