Earthlight Technologies was built as a family-owned company on a simple belief: doing the work right and treating people well should always go hand in hand. That belief still guides every project: with integrity, craftsmanship, and a long-term commitment to the customers and communities we serve.
With locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Oregon, Earthlight delivers residential solar, commercial solar, battery storage, EV charging, energy efficiency, and roofing solutions. Our History
2008
The founding family opened a small retail store called Earthlight Technologies, selling residential energy-efficiency products.
2009
Expanded into commercial energy efficiency after becoming a preferred contractor for Connecticut Light and Power's Small Business Energy Advantage program, and hired our first full-time employee.
2011
Became a preferred contractor for the Western Massachusetts Small Business Energy Advantage program and completed a successful LED upgrade for FL Roberts Corporation in Springfield — a project that led to work at 45 more locations and launched a major area of growth.
2012
Entered the solar industry and launched our residential solar division with our first three solar arrays.
2015
Won Solarize Tolland and brought solar to 45 homes in the community, while expanding into commercial solar with projects at Kloter Farms and TSI Harley-Davidson in Ellington. Our energy-efficiency division kept growing with LED projects for brands like Dunkin', Burger King, and McDonald's
2016
Expanded to the West Coast with a branch in Silverton, Oregon. Our team grew to roughly 50 employees.
2019
Expanded into energy storage for greater energy independence, becoming a certified installer of Tesla Powerwall and FranklinWH systems.
2020
Accepted into the Massachusetts National Grid Electric Vehicle Charging Incentive Program and expanded into EV charging; demand accelerated quickly.
2024
Launched our roofing division to better support homeowners through another essential part of the home-improvement process.

When you refer a friend, family member, or neighbor to Earthlight, you're connecting them with a trusted team known for quality work, honest guidance, and solutions built to last. As a thank you, you'll earn a cash reward when your referral completes their installation while helping someone you know take a meaningful step toward lowering their energy costs.

Ambassador
When someone you refer moves forward with an Earthlight project, you earn $1,000 for your first successful referral. For referrals two through five, you'll receive $500 for each completed project. Your sixth successful referral makes you an Earthlight Ambassador. From that point on, every completed referral earns you $1,000, with no limit to how many people you can refer.
