2011
We became a preferred contractor for the Western Massachusetts Small Business Energy Advantage program and completed a successful LED upgrade for FL Roberts Corporation in Springfield. That project led to work at 45 more locations and helped launch a major area of growth for Earthlight.
2012
Earthlight entered the solar industry and launched its residential solar division with the installation of its first three solar arrays.

2015
Earthlight won Solarize Tolland and brought solar to 45 homes in the community, while also expanding into commercial solar with projects at Kloter Farms and TSI Harley-Davidson in Ellington. At the same time, our energy efficiency division continued to grow through LED lighting and other upgrade projects for brands like Dunkin, Burger King, and McDonald’s.
2016
Earthlight expanded to the West Coast with the opening of a branch in Silverton, Oregon, bringing clean energy solutions to a community the Schneider family proudly called home for eight years. Around the same time, our team grew to approximately 50 employees.

After helping thousands of homeowners go solar, Earthlight expanded into energy storage to offer even greater energy independence. Today, we design and install trusted battery backup solutions, including as a certified installer of Tesla Powerwall and FranklinWH systems.
